Social Internship, a living experience!
Based on our experience and guided by the ITESM Mission 2005/15, ITESM must “contribute to the sustainable development of the community with innovative models and systems for its educational, social, economic and political improvement”.
The International Programs Department decided to utilize class material that pursue an understanding of the differences and similarities amongst people and improving the level of responsibility to shape a better world for future generations.
This resulted in a carefully designed project, created by faculty closely related to social work; The Social Internship.
Balancing theory and practice: Business Internship
The Business Faculty at Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Querétaro is one of the largest groups of business educators and students in Mexico and is committed to extend the boundaries of business and education.
We aim to achieve this through close relationships with professional associations, other education providers and universities, business, employers and government – across Mexico and internationally.
Querétaro is the best option for a business internship as 20 of the most important industrial parks, including the best in Latin America, are located here.
Program Educational Internship: La META
During this program students will have the opportunity to improve their Spanish language fluency, learn about Latin America civilizations from historical and contemporary perspective, and develop a broad understanding of education in Mexico.
Students will complete a carefully designed program of courses and gain valuable field experience by interacting with Mexican youth in their classrooms.
