The Querétaro Campus has a long tradition of an international curriculum, offering 30% of its regular classes in English and providing international students the ability to integrate into the social life of the campus. International students at the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Querétaro represents more than 8% of the campus community. Our international population includes students from 30 countries and more than 400 recognized Universities from around the world.

There are many options available to you at Technológico de Monterrey. In addition to classes designed especially for you as an International Student, you may register for any number of regular classes that are attended by our degree-seeking students.

If you wish to do so, your proficiency in Spanish must meet the required skill levels. You may also register for one of the regular courses that are taught in English. Discuss this option with your home advisor before arrival.

Credits per class: 3 credits = 5 ECTS = 8 Mexican Units                                                             Hours per week: 3 hours per class                                                                                                 Maximum credit load: 18 credits (6 courses) for Fall/Spring semester                                                                              6 credits (2 courses) for Summer terms

Class size averages 30 students. Teamwork, small group projects and student participation are all highly encouraged by your professors. Homework is assigned regularly and attendance is mandatory.

Tecnológico de Monterrey’s modern technology makes it possible for you to study and access important information online. Therefore, we recommend that you bring a laptop with you. You will be asked to log on the Internet in order to:

• Check course materials
• Obtain your class assignments
• Turn in your homework
• Participate in online discussion groups

Trips organized for international students

There is usually two trips per semester organized for the international students. You always have a change to visit Teotihuácan pyramid site, and the other trip during your semester is either to Oaxaca or Huasteca.
